My Ride or Die

When your best friend of 40 years calls and says, “girlfriend have I got a story for you.” And you tell her, “have I got a story for you!”

She is one of my ride or die. She knew me when. She holds my heart and protects it with fierceness.

We talked for two hours, and laughed so hard it was hard to breathe. God knew we needed this call.

She told me I am not alone. I know this but it was nice to hear this. God is so incredibly faithful.
