“The winds are changing.” These are the words Holy Spirit spoke to me several months ago. Soon after, I began seeing posts by prophetic voices, across social media, expressing a similar sentiment.
Today is cool and breezy in this part of NORCAL-unusual heading in to the end of July-and as I sat to commune with God, immediately I heard the words, “the winds of tide are changing-“slightly different than the words he spoke a few months ago. Holy Spirit brought to mind the time he blew quail from the sea to feed the Isaraelites meat, for the second time, on their 40 year journey.
I researched some possible meanings of the phrase, “the winds of tide are changing.” To my surprise, I found this.
When I looked at possible symbolism for quail I found that in Native American tradition quail may symbolize group cooperation, protection, and courage.
Recently, a friend, and her husband were on a walk and a Great Egret landed in a pond across from them. In my friend’s word, “this guy showed up out of nowhere.” She and her husband were having a conversation about hope. The following day they were walking again, and the Great Egret made a second appearance. This time they were talking about rejoicing.
Whatever possible interpretation of the winds of tide are changing resonates with you, I believe God is calling his children to obedience, and therein lies hope and rejoicing.
Will we choose His hope and rejoicing through our obedience to him, or will we demand something more, like the ancient Isrealites?
May we all choose wisely. May our choice always be Him.
